Section 20 was deployed to Bangkok, Thailand to rescue Chloe Foster, the daughter of the British ambassador and longtime friend of Phillip Locke (Green). The team located the compound where she was being held, but during the operation, the kidnappers managed to escape with Chloe. After identifying the primary suspect as Ray McQueen (Max Beesley), Michael Stonebridge (Winchester) and Damien Scott (Stapleton) tracked him to a nightclub and planted a tracker on his person. However, McQueen soon became aware of the surveillance and attempted to flee with Chloe once more while simultaneously contacting Robin Foster (Tim McInnerny) to orchestrate an armed bomb at the embassy. With under fifteen minutes remaining, Scott and Stonebridge raced against time to locate McQueen and navigate a confrontation with a local gang. Despite successfully rescuing Chloe and apprehending McQueen, Locke failed to prevent Foster from detonating the bomb, resulting in Foster's death and the fatal explosion of a North Korean general.
